Through Faulty Eyes

This was the very first picture I took in Thailand.

     
I’m back! With something like 500 photos from my trip.

After I got back from Costa Rica last year, the first picture I posted was an attempt to set the scene for the rest of my Costa Rica pictures. Well, with Costa Rica, that was easy, because I took pretty much nothing but nature shots there, so a nice landscape set the scene.

In the case of Thailand, though, I took a much wider array of shots, so it’s harder to find one that sets the scene. This one’s about the best I can do, as it incorporates both nature and Buddhist imagery. You’ll be seeing plenty of both in upcoming Thailand pictures.

I’m getting on a plane tomorrow to go to Thailand!  No pictures until after next weekend, but there should be some cool pictures after that.

Last year, you will undoubtedly remember, I went to Costa Rica on a photo-finding trip. This year, I’m in the same situation–a week of vacation days that are going to go away if I don’t use them up–so I decided on another photo trip, this one to Thailand. I’m going in the middle of March. I’m psyched–I’ve never been, and I expect I’ll be able to find a million great pictures to take.
